Abode allows you to automatically create a report to be sent to the New Zealand Accommodation Data Programme. Participating in the Accommodation Data Programme is on a voluntary basis, but comes with benefits for those who do participate.
The reports include trends on the number of properties, occupancy, and guest volume statistics, by property type (e.g. backpackers) and geography. The benefit is a collective benefit, in the sense that when everyone participates, the results become more accurate.
Users can access the time series, regional breakdowns, or download the full dataset to delve deeper themselves.
- To send the email select Reports > Accommodation Survey.
- Select the month.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the page and select Email.
- On the next page, select Send Email.
